Today’s the day—I finally get to share the cover of my debut horror novel, The Grange. After months of keeping it under wraps, I can’t tell you how good it feels to put this image into the world. This is the first glimpse of the story I’ve been carrying with me for years, and I hope the cover gives you a sense of the darkness, mystery, and unease waiting in Fleetwood, Pennsylvania.
For those new here, The Grange follows Audra Pratt and her father, Kevin, as they search for peace after a family tragedy. What they find instead is a town ruled by a powerful organization that masquerades as a friendly agricultural cooperative. Beneath its quiet fields lies a legacy of blood, secrets, and something ancient that refuses to rest. When Audra’s emerging psychic gifts collide with the Grange’s control, she becomes the key to uncovering the conspiracy—and stopping it before another sacrifice is made.
Designing this cover was about capturing that atmosphere: the sense that what looks ordinary at first glance might, just beneath the surface, conceal something terrible. Horror is at its best when it unsettles you before you even turn the first page, and I think this cover does exactly that.
